Yea, I'd have to agree about the guilt Alison.

You guys are probably going to shout at me BUT the same day I agreed to a D I put my wedding ring back on. At the time I put it on I didn't know I was going to end up ringing H and agreeing to a D. However I've kept it on. Please don't ask me why b/c I don't know. It just feels right.

If it feels right then do it. I put my ring back on about a year ago and haven't taken it off since. I just feel, for myself, it belongs there if I'm still married.

I think that you are trying hard to cope and doing the best you can under the circmstances.

Perhaps you and your Husband can work something out regarding the children's "extras". Perhaps work out a budget that you can both afford WITHOUT letting the kids know that they are a financial brden and without blaming the other parent.

With kids there are always extras that come up and for some reason they think we can just pull money out of our arse.

You are going to be Ok, just try to deal with one day at a time.

And don't forget to breathe!

You are right (of course) but I feel like it is me who has let my kids down. I was not able to give them what they want and more importantly what they deserve: two parents, together.

I've just come back from a fabulous weekend away. It was just what the doctor ordered! I can't actually remember the last time I laughed so much or the last time I stayed up til 4.15am drinking

Even better I got to sit next to the most gorgeous man in the room during the meal at the black tie ball AND we had a dance! If that wasn't enough of an ego booster he was younger than me. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok reality will kick in again tomorrow but tonight let me dream a little
