That is very true. It is funny how the book traces first generation Americans to second generation Americans. The first generation tends to be VERY frugal; they have a positive net worth. In contrast, their children tend to be a paycheck to paycheck group of people making more and spending even more.
The "modern" culture really has an interesting impact on people... They are controlled by their "toys".... Big house payments... Luxury car payments........ IMHO, it is crazy.....
I plan to work a few more years full time to pay off my debts and then switch over to part time consulting..... I want my life back... They can keep the toys..... Except for one..... I still want my used 263 hp Azera to compliment my Acura MDX.....
