Hi Everyone:

Life is off to a good start today.

I got out of bed and did the lifecycle and got on my treadmill. My living room is my gym - I really have no excuse to not work out. I am going to yoga tonight - have to stretch out sore muscles!

Work - well yes I am still behind - but not falling anymore behind. I am going to pad my work schedule a little extra time. I am going to tell clients I am booked solid through July. That will give me a little breathing room and give me a chance to take some time off. \:\)

I think I have decided on a new bedding set for my bedroom. Sales are incredible right now. Anyway, I would like to paint my bedroom the first weekend in June. I could pay someone - but painting is a nice mind blanking activity for me where I get a lot of satisfaction. I want to make my bedroom a calm and peaceful sanctuary where phones and laptops are banned!

Well - I am at my desk. Time to start working. I want to minimize procrastination. I think having something non-work scheduled during the day will help.

Life is good today. Working towards that life/work balance!

take care,
AG

AG,

The week is OK just very busy. Didn't get to yoga due to a last minute meeting. It will all settle out, this is one of the times I just have to be patient. Take things as they come.

Hope your day continues to be good.

Hi Everyone:

Life is much better - especially compared to earlier in the week.

I went to yoga again last night and the neck and shoulders are back to normal. There is still lower back/hip residual stress gunk - I will go to another class tomorrow - hopefully that will take care of that!

It is possible the lower back/hip is from my exercise program. I have been busy on my treadmill and lifecycle. And things feel like they are tightening up - much nicer than that jiggly feeling.

Work is work and always will be work. I am doing better at containing the beast w/in work hours.

One of my yoga teachers goes to acupuncture once a month and said it does wonder for de-blocking. I am a bit of a skeptic...but well the Reiki did work even though I am a skeptic... Perhaps I will try acupuncture... I really don't like needles.... And there are these scary suction cups that leave bruises... We'll see...

I have always posted that I simply to not have the mental energy for a potential P type of R. Perhaps the answer is not to squeeze something in where there is no room - but to make room so that I have the mental energy.

My goal for today it to get two lingering painful albatross projects out the door. And I have decided that once I do that - my reward will be ordering the bedding collection I have picked out for my bedroom redecorating project!

Life is good! \:\)

Oh AG!

Acupuncture rocks! I've had it in the past and need to get back to it. Once you get all your chi going, you only need to go once a season for 'tune ups'. I start with weekly visits for about a month, then less frequently. It's helped me with lower back pain, focus and getting my priorities straight. My yoga place now offers a whole menu of holistic health services, so it's one stop shopping.

Oh and the needles? Fine as a hair. The insertion is not deep.

I highly recommend it!

PRs too busy. If a thunderbolt strikes that may change but yea in the long term and with experiences of evaluating the work, rewards, risk/benefit one has to move over what one has filled in the vacume.

Hi A_O:

Thanks for sharing your experience with acupuncture and the recommendation! I will ask my teacher who he goes to on Monday and set up and appointment. I have been feeling blocked lately

The yoga is releasing the tension from my body and relaxing my mind - but I still feel blocked - that fear of failure angst seems to influence my thoughts and actions more than I like...

Hey N_Hill:

The end of my M created a huge vacuum in my life. In many ways it set me free from some things that needed to disappear from my life.

However work crept in to fill the void. And perhaps it was necessary at that time for me to survive and financially recover from "paying" The X to disappear.

Now it is time to shift the focus towards balance while maintaining the faith that all that I achieved professionally will not crumble as I work towards getting a life again.

AG,

I think acupuncture will help. My practitioner also offered herbal medicine which I found helpful as well.

Can't wait to hear what you think. I used alternative medicines through my S and D. Without that I would have lost my mind.
