Congrats on your new kitty. I hear you about cat allergies... I happen to take a zyrtec daily (which is much cheaper now that it's OTC) and that controls my cat allergies.

Anyway, cats are great. Unless it's one of Bethie's cats. I swear, she raises the meanest, boniest black cats and I would also swear I saw her throw one at a neighbor kid who stepped on her lawn. So, protect your furball if she happens to fly around...

But she is a loner, so that is great.

Some kitties are really affectionate, and others are a bit aloof. Some make you earn their love. I love our kitty, and miss him now that he is at DDs place...but not enough to get another! LOL!

I like cats but I'm sooooo allergic to them. One reason I like them is they take so much less care than my dog (who has changed his loyalty from me to MG and any other male that shows up here). He is soooooooo fickle!!!! (Nelson, not MG)

I did read that 60% of Americans are actually, I wish I knew if my eye prob the ONE eye is just a result of me accidently sticking my mascara wand in my eye and me rubbing it enough to cause major redness or if its a allergic reaction , i cant imagine being allergic in one eye! and no more sneezing then my usual sneezing. We'll see.

Tell ya one thing tho, if scrapy cat stays, I am investing in one of those automatic litter boxes!!! Heck if I could I'd teach her to use the toilet like in Meet the Parents!
