Yes, they are cute but very delicious animals. BTW... Do you belly dance? You dont have to say if you think that would push Woog over the edge and get him on that plane to Athens.

Not exactly belly dancing, I can't explain it, it's a lot slower and it can be really bad if you "try hard" but it can be extremely erotic if someone can dance it "from the heart". We call it tsifteteli. Belly dancing to us is more oriental. We are in the cross road between Europe and the "East".

And yes, I used to dance it "from the heart"...(not anymore, so Woog has no reason to get on that plane).

Just chiming in on the goats. When I lived in the SW, I was very near the Navajo reservation. Several times we had goat roasts. It wasn't grilling the meat on a barbeque - it was going to the rez to get a goat and then putting the prepared animal in a roasting pit! Unique experience.

I had a greek friend/musician who saved the goat skin and made a bagpipe out of it - can't remember the instrument name now, but I'm sure it was greek. lodo

Kerry,

That weekend sounded AWESOME! I've got to do the batting cage thing. I think it would be so cool to hit a baseball for the 1st time in years and pound a few to de-stress.

The goat story is funny. That is very ironic. I'm also glad to see you are exercising and staying busy. I know that it helps to stay as busy as you can during this time and you did that well this weekend.

Are you going to see the AAA Portland Beavers next weekend? I really like that ballpark. I think it is a great place to catch a game. Very fan friendly.

As for "American Gangster," I really liked that movie. I keep saying "My Man" now however. Hopefully that will wear off soon. \:\)

Kalni,

You talk about cooking on Ali's thread as well. Every time you discuss Greek food, I too get so stinking hungry! I'd like to try the Easter meal at your place. It sounds delicious.

I hope you are doing well, my friend.

Hi RTL "My Man" -

We are going to try to make it to the AAA Portland Beavers if it is not rained out. We need to do it also as one of the achievements for S7's cub scout advancement - he is supposed to learn the rules for a spectator sport. Too bad W wont be along because she also does not know the rules of baseball (and sadly the worlds greatest game - footbal).

Last night I had a real difficult time with D5. She was told no video games because it was too close to bed time, so she got real mean. Then she did not want drink her milk. Then she was screaming and crying because she did not want to sleep alone in her room. She said some pretty mean things to me like "I dont love you. You are not my favorite daddy." I could not get her to sleep until 9 pm when I usually want her down by 8 pm.

I talked to W later about this and she says that she has had problems with D5 lately also. She is going to have a talk with D5 about the way she is talking to me in such a mean way. I suspect W probably has some guilt as the thing with OM is causing some adverse side affects with D5.

W came over this morning to print some pictures for her class. She said something about knowing more on our situation by May 4 as she and OM's son have been hoping to get OM and his first W back together. I guess if they got back together, it would be obvious that my W would be booted from his house.

I then asked W what OM and his exW have to do with our situation. She said that they were insignificant in the outcome of our situation. She is still working on herself in trying to decide whether she can give up the nightclub lifestyle. And she knows the kids want us back together. We hugged and had a kiss as we both headed out the door for work.

You W is in a weird place kind of like mine, but atlest she does realize the impact it will have on the kids.

Trying to decide if she can give up the nightclub lifestyle that is crazy and she would grow tired of it in time that is for sure.

Anyway you seem to be doing very well hang in there.
