LMAO...If it makes you feel better, I've done that kind of thing. The last time my W brought up getting my stuff was like early January when I picked up 5D at her house. I did a good job of validating, brief, etc at that time...but couldn't do anything to get that stuff then or during that day. I was a bit down, etc...so sent a text "call me" which was suppose to be for my sister but sent it to my W. So, then I have to follow up with the "about times", just to fix the first goof message. She actually did call later...lol and as typical never got back to me on the two days I had suggested...

blah blah...it sounds fine to me, maybe more than you wanted to say, or revise more, but it's not like a royal blunder...it's done now, so don't worry about it anymore.

I did ask him if he wanted to do X, but that was weeks ago. Before we ML, before he texted me on his on volition, etc.

He hasn't responded to my email, but then again, it's lunchtime.

well, now he's been reminded. the e-mail wasn't bad, so don't stress.

So here's his reply. "Sound good on the nursery thing. Taking D5 to the b-day party from 10-noon, so if you want to stop by afterwards to see the kids, we’ll be home by 1pm. During PNO, I’m probably going to work out and spend some time working on the floors, I don’t think I’m up for going down to sac, then coming back to get the kids."

S5 has a t-ball game on Saturday at 3pm, which I think H has forgotten about.

This all sounds good to me. He bowed out, but not in a mean way. Keep it up! As a guy I can tell you he's thinking a lot right now...

And besides, he is sharing all the reasons why he isn't or cannot go...that is a good sign.

alrighty. told him that after he dropped the kids off I was going to go for a walk or bike ride on the trails and grab a bite to eat before I head down to 2nd Saturday (our friends run an inn and aren't free until later), that he could join me if he wants to.

Sounds good - no pressue, GAL, and keeping a connection open with him.

It worked! He responded with: "Sure, I would like to work out when I drop off the kids, but I most likely will join you." I proposed that I go for a walk/ride while he works out and we can meet up afterwards.

Yay! I'll do the dance of joy with you!
