How do you know when your WAW, who has asked for a D is trying to be nice out of guilt or friendship or is having second thoughts. She told me she wants a D one week ago, and that she still has feelings for OM she had PA with for 6M one year ago, and that they have been talking for the last few weeks and that she is in love with him. We sat down the other day and she says she has feelings for him but doesn't know what she wants. She just doesn't want to be unhappy anymore seeing me deal with her PA and lack of intimacy she offers. I thought things were getting better when the bomb dropped so I don't trust my gut in being able to read her. I know she is very deppressed. She is taking meds and still drinking a bottle of wine every night. We are in the same house and sleeping in the same bed. Why has she started to wear less and less to bed after she told me she wants a D. Very confused. She will kiss me if I initiated. I am trying to stop because I think it upsets her. But today as she was getting ready to go on a business trip she comes over to me and give me a big hug and kiss. It was great but I also know that her PA with OM happened when she was away on trips so very internally torn up. Any advice is welcome.
I wouldn't try too hard to figure her out, if she is giving out mixed signals ... she's mixed up, there is not a lot you can do with that. Take a step back from her turmoil and give yourself a break, figure out how you can make yourself happy how you can become a better man, then set to it.
