I did my duty, I hauled Cranky around all day to socialize with his posse and homies. Bad news is he doesn't hold four drinks like he used to. Good news is I didn't let him drive and he is back home in front of his tv.

And I have a recycled 20yr old tenant, again. Too much in love to stay in south TX with his soul mate four hours away. So not sure what that means, or what is next. Owes rent down south for an apt in my name and no job here yet. Just showed up with car load of clothes and said he can't be that far away from her any more ... no matter what. Ok.

Cheers peeps, life is good.

OK, I 've been off the board for the week, Was2sad posts something I cannot figure out (glue sniffing?) so I obviously missed something.
Last time I was here was talking about 62 F driving a new sports car and a sunny day last weekend, barely got home hours late last night (but better than being stuck in CVG for the weekend) in time for a blizzard and 15" of snow (so much for that global warming BS). It's 5 F on the deck out back.
Maybe "springing forward" at 2 AM will get all things realigned?

Your HOT at CVG why? Summer time visits/ plane changes when their AC is down? Sun bathing in the summer on the concrete tarmac?

Oh!, forgots the latest dirt! Seems my x1 has applied for a job where my x2 works. I reminded x1 of same, dead silence on the phone, and then "oh, yeah, that... well...erm...cr@p!"
My x1 concluded on her own years ago (without my assistance whatsoever) that x2 was "crazy" and told x2 not to leave me as "that's the best thing you'll ever have in your life" (when x1 was having one of her few lucid moments).
Oh, this should be fun!fun!fun! Way tooooo bad I've got an out of town travel schedule to keep. Had I only know earlier ...

I get groped at airport security too, but probably not for the same reason. Not sure the security dudes would call me HOT. I'll ask tomorrow when flying to Houston for three days of training. Got groceries, cleaned house, and cooked more today than in weeks. Leaving youngster with fresh baked blueberry muffins and cinnamon struesel muffins, all topped with great cin-sugar for effect. Grilled up couple pounds of burgers to save in fridge. Made the baby promise not to starve to death while I'm gone.

Not thinking the house will be very empty very much. Insurance is current \:\)

Be proud of Cranky. Yesterday we had long talk about his idea of quality time vs hers. Well, at least I talked. Today he took the GF to a park to feed ducks and watch people. He sounded proud of himself. I will give him a gold star.

Jeeeeepers! W2S, so, errrmmm, um, well, when you traveling this way?

I do have a chicken in the crock pot and .... well, that's all I have, but.... I'll pick up burgers for grilling, shall I?

Have a groovy trip.

F1 & W2S, I checked inventory. NO chicken for crock pot, no burger on hand, just #5 of beef fillet mignon, #8 king crab, #2 jumbo prawns (size 26-31), #20 danish baby back ribs and 32 bottles of wine (mostly reds), 1/2 case of Coors & doodles.
Jeepers, inventory is low.
Never had the squeeze by TSA person, but there was this very big TSA gal with a twinkle in her eye in Nashville on Friday ...
oops, Easter is around the corner, have to stock up on peeps!
Note to self - need more sunshine, OK, LAS it is last weekend of March.
