cw! It's funny you bring up Borat (which I haven't seen). S18 and his friends say the movie itself was stupid, and I don't think they really like it, but they do the accent all the time! go figure!
I thought it was an absolutely hilarious movie. Loved, loved, loved it.

Jeff, can you pop over to my thread for a minute? I need some advice.

So, in the time between when I first woke up, and when I actually got out of bed, I had a dream. It seemed wuite real, except that it was clearly impossible. I wasn't alone in the bed, and the other being wasn't the cat! But, I remember thinking in the dream how cool it was going to be to write about it on the board. Let's just say it was not a real passive dream. About then, I woke up, darn it! Looking back, I don't think I could be certain the other inhabitant of the bed was W, but I am going to assume it was. But, I think we can say with certainty that it was only a dream, darn it again!
O Jeff, I wish for you that it was real. I truly hope that one day the dream comes true and it is even better than that one! You really are such a great guy and deserve only good things!
My son, who just turned 17, wants a tatoo. I told him he has to wait until he is 18 as I do not like them. Hopefully, by then, he will have changed his mind. If not, I hope it is one that is in good taste and not too big. It's bad enough that he talked me into a lip ring. But he is such a wonderful kid, who asks for nothing, so I gave in.
I'm not a big tattoo fan myself, I don't have any, myself. S19's is high enough on his arm not to show when he has a regular shirt on (the Marines, of all people, have some new tattoo rules, imagine that!). S18 purposely got his where he could go to an interview, or pretty much anywhere except the beach or the pool, and it won't be seen. I still don't really see the point, but they spent their own money, and they are 18! Ir that's the worst they do, well, they can get another one! IO think I'd prefer the tattoo to the lip ring! But I hear what you are saying. If a lip ring was what he wanted, and he is out of any other trouble, who's complaining?!
Lol. My mom was pretty much okay with dyes, perms, and piercings. Her theory was you can always dye it, perm it, or take it out and no one will ever know. Tattoos...kinda permanent. However, being in/around the military for so long, I'm kinda used to it. I have even considered getting one myself but would want something special and symbolic that very few people would see.
That's funny about theme ating the lasagna for breakfast - glad everything turned out good.

The thing about the lip ring is, if he takes it out, the hole closes. It is not permanent. And he is such a greak kid, even if he got a tatoo, I would not be too upset. I'll take those things out of all the things he could be into.
I am glad your weekend was good. I will keep your son in my prayers. I see might be changing the date of our party. I cant make it third week of November. But first two weeks are ok.
