aaawww..no prob Bethie. Glad you're good hun. And glad you got a kick out of the vids. I laugh my butt off each time i see them.

But think you're a little confused on the NYC trip story. \:\) This is P's X that i'm talking about. And as of right now he's had them for 3 days and won't tell her where he's staying with them. She's out of her mind. Talk about controlling and using the kids as weapons. Blech. Sad.

But yes...your word is everything when it comes to kids (or anyone else for that matter). And that goes both ways. Gotta stick to the boundaries you set for them too as well as the promises you make. Only then do they feel like they are safe and that they can count on you too.

Interesting turn of events for H. Wow! And P, I can't imagine if I had kids, not knowing where they were. Boggles the mind with some people.

Anyhow, glad you are having fun and doing well, Scott.

Hey Everyone!

Haven't been around much lately. Just been really busy dealing with life...but all is good.

Had my 2nd interview with that company today. Took me an hour and a half to get in there. Ick. But with no traffic it was under an hour to get home...and they are ok with flextime and maybe even with working from home once in a while once i get established, etc.

I think it went really well and I wouldn't be surprised to have an offer by early next week. YAY! We've talked money and he seemed to indicate that they should be able to get me to where I want to be one way or another. So..that's good too.

I'm pretty excited about it. It sounds like a good solid company and it just sounds like this will be a good opportunity for me. I'll have a lot of responsibility within the company but with that comes opportunity. I'll have about 4 people working under me too. I've had people working for me in the past..but just here and there so this is an opportunity to really become a better mananger too. So..all loooks good.

Have a mediation appointment tonight. Told STBX that i thought we should put it off until things like my job are figure out but she really wants to go tonight and offered to pay for the whole thing. Fine. I explained that I'm certainly not trying to slow this down but that I just don't want to waste money going in all the time when there is more we need to do. Whatever. No biggie, she's paying, so I'll go. And maybe she can give us some direction as to the whole employment thing. STBX is only working part time since she failed out of school and isnt' planning on working full time until she becomes a nurse..but that's a year away. How she'll survive until then...i have no idea. Which i've always said isn't really my problem but it may become mine now because the judge I think would award her child support. Which neither of us wants. So I don't know. Maybe we can put a letter together saying that her earning potential is X right now but she's choosing not to work. Something to talk to the mediator about i guess.

Other than that...just dealing with my kids and the normal life stuff.

Looking at tickets for Memphis in May....woot! ;\)

Where have you been lad? You have been missed!!!

Congrats on the job and on the mediation. I'd rather have a 1 1/2 job interview then a mediation session...yuk!

Hey Brett Michaels and Carlos Mencia are at the HB Casino.....kind makes me want to book a flight..haha. What happened to that place? I used to see the best groups there.

Take care .............

Love,
Bethie
