Well, the "white death" didn't show up until noon today. But I did sample the 18 pack last night to make sure it was a good batch. It's still dribbling flakes outside and supposed to keep going until just after midnight, and jeepers, according to the TV weather people that are all excited about "the storm", we'll get a total accumulation of 3 " ! Locusts! Tigers! Bears! Dogs sleeping with cats! Moose! Excited weather people! (same catagory). Good stock pile of doodles, may sample the beer stock pile tonight just to make sure it's staying fresh. You wearing spiked heel boots on the ski slopes? Suppose good for traction and I suspect you can leave the ski poles at the base, but is that the appropriate area for such a fashion statement?
Ich sprecha deutch? Didn't realize u spoke German also. (i.e. u used "uber" translation "under" ) Wanna switch over to German to really mess with the peeps? Or perhaps: Tbi govaru paruski yaziek? (looks like heck when trying to use English letters for Russian alphabet doesn't it?) Oh, major flashback on your last paragraph! A few years back (well, many actually) the band was playing a new year's job in Z town and brought the groupies with us, took over an entire floor of this Bust Western Hotel. Well after the job, of course there was the designated party hotel room. Part of my job (since I always remained relatively sober compared to the rest) was to awaken the contents of said room at noon. They opened the door, and as far as you could see, corner to corner, edge to edge of the carpet was covered in cruched crackers, cheese, popcorn, squished sliyders etc. I suspect it was at least one inch in depth, if not more in spots. Ah, those were the days of hitting the pillows at 4 AM, loading the truck up at 10 AM for the next job, and awakening the party room at noon. Geeze I miss 'em. Maybe that's why I have hard wood floors in my house now? I suppose I could sacrifice a throw rug if you insist!
Dry_Heat! You win the prize, an all expense paid trip for four to ... Was just checking to see if the peeps were awake (snert), paying attention, and see who caught it first! (giggles) Very good. Two (2) gold stars!
I caught it earlier, but I really didn't feel good about pointing it out, but I had to! I don't know a lot of German, but we lived there for a year and a half, so I accidentally learned a little, and my two older sons are, or were, pretty much fluent, conversationally. They both took advantage of that to take two years of German at the community college while they were in high school. They sort of beat the system there!
