Short,
sounds to me he wants to position you into the drivers seat so that he can point fingers later.
He wants to say, she told me to go ahead with the accountant.

FYI Spitfire had to go that route. Look up her old threads. It would be from 2006 and a little 2007.

D dismissed 11/07, attempt reconciliation. Premature.
Divorce final October 31, 2008.
OW looks like bad history. Over.
Still hopeful. Baby steps.

I had a funny thought this morning. We should all get married to each other. \:\) (a bit of a joke)

I was realizing that what we do here on this site is exactly what I missed in my marriage these last few years. Most newcomers show up hurt and begin by expressing that hurt. Then some poster jumps on and validates (I feel your pain or I understand), shows sympathy and compassion (sorry you are here) and shows support to the newcomer as they begin to find their way. WOW, I love it.

Before long the newcomer is posting the same thing to the next new person. Just by being here we learn to validate, care, and support others. Yet, we are careful to not tell them what to do, but instead offer support for whatever it is they decide for themselves. Well isn't that what a marriage should be?

So, you are all invited to dinner. \:\)

I make great turkey and stuffing, but cookies are my thing. So much so we had them as part of our wedding ceremony. \:\)

That is what I love about this board. These people here feel your pain and the pain of others. I don't think I could have made it thought all of you.

What time is dinner?????
