GS - Just wondered what it would be like to start life again in a new place where you did not know anyone. I would find that to be incredibly difficult.

My W and I have been separated for 4+ months and it is killing me that I do not see her and my daughter on a daily basis. I have lots of family and friends around, but truly miss the home life.

Just curious as to how you plan on connecting with people in MN.

All the best.

One day at a time. \:\)

Actually, the apartment building I'm in has an entertainment area, complete with pool table and large screen TV. There's also a fitness area, so I'm going to start by getting to know my neighbors, then working my way out from there.

There's also the co-workers, but so far they seem a quiet bunch. ;\)

Now, if I just had some sidewalks or driveways to shovel, I'd be set. Stupid apartment!!

Well, I know this place in NH that has huge amounts of snow and ice that need to be shoveled.....if you are interested!!!

By the time I'd get out there, the snow would be gone!

Had another phone session with a counselor last night. Went pretty well, and it's definitely helping me focus on what I need right now. We talked over stuff that's been going on and also looked at local therapists so I can set up sessions on a regular basis.

Kinda unsteady on my feet today, but I'm moving forward. As the song goes "Ain't Nothing Gonna Hold Me Down".

Finally, something to help the LBS's to figure out if the WAS is actually being honest about coming home!

I am just kidding, of course, but it definitely makes it more interesting!

That's a pretty loaded question. Everything from makeup that will change color based on your mood to contact lenses that link into your palm computer and let you surf the web while walking.
