LO,
I do not have my hopes up. I've been burned too many times to fully trust him at this time. Our situations are so similar, you definitely know what it is like. I just look at it that I got to spend a nice time with my friends and he came along for the ride. He is very undependable.

Hi Yoyo,

I've got to go cook a strawberry/rasberry cobbler. The store was out of blueberries, and now we are all craving it.

Ooops. Got it all ready to go in the oven. And then I realized...I forgot to turn the oven on. So it's preheating now. Should come out good anyway, I hope.

Saffie would like the cobbler, I put Grand Marnier in the berries. It should be very tasty. Who knows, I may have invented a new dish.

I was right. The strawberry/blackberry cobbler is better than blueberry cobbler. I have created a masterpiece!

Last night I went ahead and gave my DD16 her VD present early. Mornings are very hectic around our house (she likes to primp before going to school, LOL). I wanted to have plenty of time with her while she looked at her gifts. She absolutely loved what I got her even though it wasn't anything big. I got her the things she loves. I got her some sunglasses (she loves flashy ones), she wanted some new cubic zirconia earrings (big onees), some candy, and a balloon. She was so excited especially since I got her the earrings she wanted them last week, but I didn't get them for her then. We had a nice chat after she opened everything up. She asked if we could go out to eat and shopping with one of her friends and mother on VD's day. I told her they may have plans, but we could go on the weekend if she wanted. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful teenage daughter that likes to spend time with me. I see that my H is the loser here. I know the little things that are important to her that he has no idea about. He is missing out on that bonding with her.
