DryHeat is sulking that he hasn't locked the position of grill-keeper, but he has never offered to go up on the roof, and his trash removal skills are still unknown.

W2S is very funny.
GoinBatty has a cat and is cold, with an early class and a do-it-himself type of entrepreneurial religion thing going.
My dumb story. It's dumb. Bear with me. (Or bare, if you prefer, but it IS chilly!)
I went car shopping yesterday. Just for a sec. Made the poor guy take the new car to the middle of the lot so I could open all the doors and play with the seats and open the trunk and see how much junk I could cram in there, and open the hood and etc, etc, etc.
What was amazing about this adventure????
He didn't hit on me. It was great!
Now, telling that story made a friend last night go huh? So it's great anytime someone doesn't hit on me????
Well, yep.
Rest of the story...
Last time I went car shopping, June(?) of 2005, I was chit-chatting with the sales guy. He was about 25. He's like "so, husband works out of town, huh?" and later "I really like married women. My friend does too, he set me up with them and blah, blah, blah, blah"
I called husband later, told him the story, said what does that mean, husband says "Well, he certainly wasn't coming on to you, because no one would do that!" in a very serious tone. I decided that I was over reacting....
Meh.
That's just cruel and uncalled for, I would say.
By the way, it is snowing those huge huge flakes right now, and I had to practically carry *gasp* my wheely trash can back into the garage....
I'll have you know I took out the trash this morning! Recycling anyway. Trash was Tuesday, and I did that too! Even emptied the litter box! I do have a dislike of ladders, though. But it might not be so bad when you just step from the snow onto the roof!
