My H has had moments where he can't spend even a few minutes with my daughter and I without extreme difficulty. He wants to rush and go text the OW. It's sad really. I'm hoping at some point that he gets over that, he seems miserable, so I do hope he is going to get to the point where he realizes that he isn't happy and then will make the changes in his life that he needs to. He is seeing a counselor also, so hopefully the counselor can help him see this as well. I surprisingly actually feel kind of sorry for him at this point, which I would not have expected to have felt, but he did bring this on himself of course.
I understand feeling sorry for your spouse. I feel sorry for mine as well. Even though he brought this entire mess on himself, I still feel sorry for him because he is just so depressed and miserable. I have hope that he will see the light soon.

That's common, to feel sorry for them. Of course, we love them and want them happy. My H looks 100 yrs old these days, has stomachaches, and is barely treading water. Can I help him? No. But I still love him, so its hard for me to watch.
I feel worse now more than ever.... I got to hear all of the reasons why my H doesn't like the OW. But when I asked him then why does he keep going back to her, he tells that it is because he is "delusional" WTF???
