Just wanted to just mope for a minute. H and I loved Walt Disney World (no we weren't Disney fanatics, just really loved WDW). I just got so mopey. All I want to do w/ him right now is go to WDW.

Hey guys, So late here, but just wanted to say that I saw H again tonight. He had to come over and help me install a new mailbox (ours got hit down).
It was nice. We had dinner, watched the premiere of LOST.
I started telling H about signing up to volunteer and right in the middle of it, he said, "oh! I have a story to tell you! But finish your story." I did, with him just saying, Uh-huh and then went right into his whole story. Very typical self-centered H. I didn't get upset, just sort of mentally shook my head in acknowledgment that H is the same.
The whole night, I felt like I wanted to be cozy, comfortable. But not in love with him. Like I wanted to cuddle, but I didn't feel crazy in love. It was strange. But, a whole lot easier to deal with!

I feel the same way when H stops by, or calls. I'm comfortable, we tell stories and poke fun at each other. But not crazy in love. Maybe Dbing helps us move on, because we're GALing? They say love is blind, maybe DBing helps us see our H's through different eyes.

It sounds like you might be in a good place to watch and wait, Beth. Being comfortable with him, and able to not feel a need to pressure him, or you, might be a very good thing.
Sounds like you have been making some progress. I agree with you and DA- when I see H I feel comfortable and cozy, almost like ILYBNILWY. It's a really scary thing every time, and I wonder if it comes as part of starting to detach.....

So, is everyone journalling on Valentine's Day? Technically, it is no longer Valentine's Day. I know H sent OW flowers for Valentine's Day (ugly flowers if you ask me). I know b/c of snooping (i know, i know--no snooping). They said, "happy valentine's day, baby. I love you. H"
Today when I got home, there was a tin of cookies from Mrs Fields. "Happy Valentine's Day Beth. ~H"
H texted me 2x today about random things. 1 about a new radio station and to wish me a happy valentine's day. the second was about him going to the doctor b/c he is sick. I didn't respond to either.

Over the weekend happened to be in the neighborhood of H's OW and saw H's car parked in the parking lot. My heart sank.
H texted me today about some things. He then texted, "BTW, no comment on the cookies? Were they that bad?" I texted back: "Not bad, just awkward" He texted back, "Duly noted"
It was really hard for me to text him back, but that is part of my 180 plan...gently calling H out on things he is doing.
I will be seeing him on Thursday to meet w/ our realtor. Then he is staying to watch LOST together (one of our favorite shows!)
