Things are probably different here as I am in the UK but I know that as a tax consultant I am always looking for good book - keepers that work from home. I don't do any corporate tax and my client base don't need audits so they don't need qualified accountants - they just need someone who can bring them upto basic P & L and balance sheet and then I do all the technical stuff, tax planning etc, and compliance work on top. It's not worth me doing the book - keeping side of things as although I can do it I am qualified as a tax consultant and it pays better. At various times I have had people train up and do book - keeping for me and once you know the basics you can get software packages that really speed it all up. Just an idea.

I am a full time bookeeper at a feed store. But I only have good skills in 1/2. I do all the A/R for over 500 customers. Last week I signed up for a basic accounting course to maybe learn the other side of things. I have done payroll a few times but not much on taxes and year end stuff. I would be really interested in maybe seeing what you have to offer. Really just what I may be looking for. Please let me know.
