I just got a text. FIL is picking up W and MIL Friday night. So, I don't get/have to!

I can have flowers installed at home, though.

While I was typing this, FIL called to find out when they were getting back. He then volunteered to pick them up. Whatever.

Now why am I surprised that MIL was on this trip too? I forgot, sorry. You could still go with FIL, but flowers waiting at home is nice too and that way you can make all those last minute tidy up things and have everything spotless!

W says next time she goes by herself. MIL was nervous Nellie about driving in the snow. She had an incident once.

I actually prefer in laws to W right now.

I like the tidy up method. Car would get crowded with all there stuff. They took lots of clothes, MIL does not travel light!

Hi Jeff:
Hope you had a nice New Years Eve...did the kids stay up to help you ring in the New Year? We were out until about 1:30...had a nice time....had a couple glasses of champaign...tasted good (have stayed off those meds since Christmas and seem to be doing fine without them). I'll post to my thread so you can see my update! Are the science projects done? When are they due?

BA!
I wondered when you'd show up. I've looking forward to hearing of your exploits!

On NYE S19 worked until 11, then went home, and watched movies! S10, S13, and S18 went to a friend's house (family of S18s best friend) and watched Mel Brooks movies and ate snacks. Midnight snuck by in the middle of a movie, but those old enough (including S18, horrors!) had a glass of Champange, sparkling cider for the younger two. The three kids stayed over, and watch more movies. The wiser guy went home and went to bed!

I wanted to get the sceince fair projects experimental bits done yesterday, but they need to be done outside, and measured, and the wind was howling! I am planning to take tomorrow off, and get that part done then. S13 says that once he has the data, he can do everything else in class (which was true u pto this point, so I think he is right). S10's we'll have to do at home, I think it is due the 23rd. If we get the experiment done tomorrow, we'll be able to wrap it up easily, a week or two early, I hope!

Nice that you're off work tomorrow...hopefully the weather will cooperate with the science experiments needing to be performed outdoors! It's supposed to be 50 degrees here tomorrow...quite a warm up from the 7 we had this morning. No snow on the ground here....more up by Denver. D18 leaves for Mexico with a friend tomorrow am....I'm jealous! S21 is driving her to the airport so I don't have to take time off work.
Are you disappointed about not meeting the W at the airport? I'm thinking maybe a warm welcome at home may be the ticket! That way you can either act surprised when she comes in the door, like you didn't hear them pull up....or you can meet them outside if you want to look more anxious....you'll have to decide what mood you're in! Did you ever find the anklet?

I'm hoping your 2008 brings you much joy and happiness and a solution to your sitch....we all think we know how we want things to turn out...so I hope your things turn out the way you want them to! I'm leaving work in about 15 minutes....I'll try to get online later...have a good night if I don't talk to you!

I think it may be better to not meet at the airport, so I am not too bothered by that. Not planning to look anxious though, I hope to get it to where it looks like we didn't even miss her! Anklet is still MIA. I'm going to go through the Christmas trash, to see if the box got in there! It may turn into a Valentines or anniverasary (Feb. 16) gift! Or, I'll have a drawing and send it to one of you fine ladies!

Have a good evening, if I don't see you!

Yeah, don't look anxious...if it looks like you didn't miss her, it will make her wonder...keep em guessing I say....well, I don't say that or practice it, but is sounds good! I'd like to keep my H guessing, just haven't gotten that far yet...too many detours! I really need to GAL...work, kids and DBing just isn't that fulfilling...I need to figure out something else. Oh yeah...and the kids will be gone by the 21st so it will be back to work and Dbing...yuck!

Hey BA!
Once the kids are gone, perhaps we can figure out how you can GAL. I need to work on that, too!

Well, if my calculations are correct, I am as close to the three year anniversary of the last time my W and I were intimate as I can figure. Let me go blow a leftover noisemaker, or something! OK, enough raucous celebration! How about a toast to the next three years! NOT! That is not going to happen!

OK, the pity party is over, move along folks, there's nothing to see here!

There is work to be done, and it will be done, and she will get flowers, and be impressed! So there!

Hey...dry...you know what you could do that might GAL for a bit...check out http://www.recipecontest.com ....I had forgot all about this place when my subscription ran out...but one of my very first big $$$ wins was from this site...actually most of my big money ones were...and I see they have many more...it makes for a fun hobby for those of us who enjoy cooking...and the neat part is you usually just have to submit a recipe...I have to be honest...I actually won a national grand prize with a recipe that I never actually made!!!...It sounded good when I made it up so I submitted it...I bet you can guess my suprise when I got that phone call!!

Well...Have a good day...behave and hopefully your wife will be left wondering...

P.S....I personally think you should just get a new matress as a gift to your M...if she joins you eventually great...if not...you'll maybe sleep a bit better ;\)
