Patience is probably THE virtue - can't do much else without it.

Ingid! Welcome to the asylum! Thanks for stopping in!

Thanks, BA, I appreciate your kind thoughts.

Yes, patience. Keep reminding me, 'cause I'm running a bit short of it!

Don't worry. I won't say anything yet. I will let you guys help me figure out when the time is right!

Instead of working, I've been reading back on your thread. Haven't gone far enough yet to have a grip on what's going on, though. Must get some work done - will read more when I need a break.

Getting ready to head out for the day.....good luck with the W's return....I'll be thinking of you! I know everything will go smoothly and you'll be able to facilitate a wonderful welcome home!

It was 60 here today....snowing like a mother in the mountains....wish I was going skiing this weekend...!

OK, any of you fine people....

Flowers in the guestroom, where she sleeps, or in the common area?

I vote for the guest room...lets her know it was just for her...if you can swing it...why not a nice vase of flowers in both her room and the common area???

Leave a path of petals casually strewn about the floor leading to the beautiful bouquet laying on her pillow.

or

stick the things in a vase and leave it on the counter.

or

leave the flowers in the common area and your card/note in her sleeping room where she will find it after she's already reemed you out for buying the flowers and will melt at the kind words from you.

What do you think is your best chance? BE BRAVE.

I don't think she sounds like a "petal path" sort of woman...and she might feel really pressured by that gesture...

My first thought was in her room...this sends a personal message right there...but then on the counter with a nice card would okay too...but in her room gives her opportunity to admire them without the eyes of the home upon her...where out in the open she might not get the opportunity to do so and may avoid doing so because she wants to remain indifferent in front of you...

Just my re-take on it...Lin
