The truth is painful and people run from it. I've experienced this more professionally than personally, but I've not filtered my honest opinion about decisions/items to do with my job. I'm polite, but blunt. I've noticed that if it's not a popular opinion or contrary to group wisdom it's ignored (and, not to sound arrogant or anything, I'm right way more often than I'm wrong).
Anyway, I'd much prefer complete, unvarnished honesty than being strung along. Having been strung along, the truth would have been much less painful.
Looking forward to getting out there and 'quasi-dating.' Good term, WAW.

WAW Probably just a guy who likes you and wants to know himself where it might be headed, can you blame him for not liking the answer sort of "even though" he knew that was the deal. His W cheated on him so maybe he was uncomfortable about you seeing him and in his mind still seeing your H? Human nature I think. He is obviously struggling himself so I wouldnt take it personally at all.

Personally, I think its pathetic that he asked where WAW sees this heading. Way too early. She should have run out of the place screaming. I don't understand why people can't just date and have fun with no commitment.

Good Lord man. Three dates and you want an understanding of where a R is going??? You want exclusivity??? Just enjoy spending time with each other. Enjoy life. Enjoy the moments, as they come. Don't worry about tomorrow's moments for crying out loud. In my mind, dates non-exclusively, multiple people, for a mesbingful period of time. If waw's man doesn't want that, or "needs" more, he can find it elsewhere. In my mind, none of us should be in a committed, exclusive R any time soon. Can't we just have fun?
