Police went to the victim's neighborhood at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 4, after she returned home and startled a burglar in her living room.
"She was pulling up the driveway ... and as she got out, he ran out the door," Cramer said.
The burglar eluded a police search.
He took a video of himself using the victim's digital camera, police discovered, and investigators are releasing still photographs from that recording to seek help finding him.
The burglar escaped with $3,000 in jewelry, computer games, an iPod and other possessions. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 894-2150.
