Thanks H, got the email as well. This sounds like a definite must have. Time to work more on myself. It's not that I'm tired of learning how to focus on fixing my marriage, it's just that I came to the realization a while ago that if the parts are broken the machine will never work.
I don't belong to the "fix your wife" union so I can only work on myself.
I am hopeful, of course, that any improvements I make will improve my marriage. This is not my sole purpose. If you haven't had a chance, you might try makingherhappy.com. One of the first things he tells you is that it is simply unfair to try to hold a marriage together that one or both of you cannot be truly happy in (our spouses don't feel happy in ours, but that does not necessarily mean they CANNOT be happy).
So let the improvements begin. If fixing me is bad for my marriage than my marriage is bad for me.
Hmm, I think I'm going to make that into a bumper sticker.

You should be beaming with pride today. SAME HERE. I have been making a effort of everymorning saying to myself and out loud "Today is going to be great" I think the people around me may start being anoyed by that 'Happy" guy. It really is a strange how YOU control your feelings. I have been saying this and then felt ya right. But If you keep at it it really does work.
