Well I just stopped by to say Merry Christmas and I hope everyone here is doing well. I have not been around lately. I decided it was time to let go and move on. I honestly have been happier than I have ever been and then.......
H calls last week and says he has messed up and wants to get back together. I must tell you that at this point I am the one saying no. He is coming for Christmas and for the kids I will spend it with him but I just don't think I want my life back like it was anymore. I am truly a better person on my own and honestly my kids are so much more content as well. I have no idea what the future holds but I do know that I have learned something through all of this and that is that I can stand on my own to feet and that I have a right to be happy also.
I hope that all of you have an amazing holiday and hang in there. Love and prayers to you all.

Good for you, Amy! Your old life together with him, was truely miserable. You should never go back to the way things were between you.
I hope that, if someday, he gets his head on straight, and can show you in a way that is meaningful to you, that you will look at him with fresh eyes, and be able to see him as he is, rather than who he used to be.
But for right now... a week(?) out of psych hospital... it's pretty unlikely he's in that state yet.
