Hey CVA...you liked that comment, ay? Its true I am at the end of my rope. Need to work off some frustrations!

I guess you just float around the housewares or grooming products aisle (usually packed with women)and check for one wearing no rings that you find cute...ask for help/advice on picking something out...make small talk etc.

We make all these jokes about Target but really you would have better luck at a Martini bar or whatever it is that is popular among women in that age group in the Houston area. Women, single women, in the 30's seem to flock here for more mature men.

You should have no problem meeting a new "friend" once you are ready! Get rid of shy CVA and try to get out there and meet some new people.

I went on the date. Well semi date...I had him over for snacks & a movie. Not quite ready for the real thing. Old friend so no pressure and sort of like a practice date.

He fixed my my cable and built me some fancy spliter for my DVD/TV/Cable.

Nothing says hot like a handy electrician. At least there wasn't wany "electrician crack"

Oh GD cmon! I was referring to a female electrician with a g-string/thong! Wonder if there are any hot female electricians out there that could help me out! Sorry WAW, needed to make sure this was clear! Carry on.

From what I can recall, there are a great many gentleman's establishments in the greater Houston area. Has anyone EVER seen a hot (or even reasonably attractive) service person fix something in your house? I mean, odds say they exist, just not in my own experience.

Okay so my 4 year old ratted out her Dad. She met his "friend" from work. The same friend he travels with for business. Apparently they had lunch and were holding hands etc. So the idea is that the reason why he may not have been interested in me is that he has been having and A this whole time time.

Also explains why he never had any social life when at home...he was having plenty on the road. now that I am not in the house he is shipping my D off to his mothers & sisters on his nights so he can go out.

Its funny how kids can just tell the plain truth.

Anyway, I have been away dealing with some serious health issues but back now.

Been on another date, and met someone over the weekend who I thought was really great and would be a nice person to spend time with, but being old fashioned just gave him my number and sort of waiting to see if he calls. I refuse to chase and man. Either they are interested or not. Plus not looking for a relationship. Just some distractions.

Waiting for the big D papers. I have a feeling they are coming. H is spending any money we have left on frivolous things.
