Let's see....Halloween, trick or treating as Dorothy and Hannah Montana...on the way to ex IL's house and Lil Peanut says "I don't want daddy to go to CO." I asked if he had to go for work and she said no, he's thinking about moving there, but he doesn't know what he'd do about me and Brother.....
How nice that he discusses these things in the presence of little ears.....but what a blessing it would be. I know I am horrible for thinking this way but his parenting is so part time IF that.
Peanut came home today from his place (he let her come home a day early since I fly out tomorrow for a week) and she said that MM is already staying over. How nice.
And he's planning on getting her almost every night this week. WOW...stepping up. My last trip my parents had her all week as I had arranged and she did well. No winding up or down, he doesn't discipline until he gets angry, he lets her do what she wants, eat and drink what she wants, jump on and off of furniture, just act however....no consequences. How nice.
Then we discussed holidays a few weeks ago - who had which, what times, etc. and I commented about my impending trip. He started trying to lay guilt on me for going and said it was hard on her. I reminded her that yes it probably was but that he was ALWAYS welcome to spend time with her (jack@$$!). I probably talked to her more that week than he did. No wait, I know I did.
So whatever that's worth - there's my update...
Oh - and the movie with CB....30 days of night. No kiss. More future plans. He's just SO different than X. And so nice. Guess that's part of the difference. LOL
