Nothing much to report really.

Good weekend. Saw a band Saturday...got asked to go to dinner sometime with an old friend...Not sure if I am going to accept. Was def more of a date thing than a lets hang out and grab a bite invitation. I am fence sitting this one.

pent Sunday afternoon watching the Pats...they are hot this year. At least this game was exciting. Unlike last weeks landslide.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend.

My H is dating. Confirmed dating. Bought two new fireplace inserts for 2 of our 3 fireplaces. One of which is in the master. I very romantic one at that. All my pics and person items completely removed and packed in the basement.

Friends have seen him having dinner with a couple of different gals. So I am taking that fellow up on his date invite. Can't wallow and wait for him to take action and work with me to save the M.

Wish me luck. Luck the rest of us on here we are all venturing into the abyss. Haven't had to "date" in 9 years. Don't have a clue as to what its like in that "pond' so I figure someone I have known for many years may be a safe starting point. I already know he isn't an axe murderer or something.

Thoughts anyone? Am I making a huge mistake?

As far as it being a mistake... I personally don't think so. If nothing else, going out with someone should boost your PMA and it may help you to re-evaluate everything going on.

What about the young and viral Mr. Statham? Didn't you mention that you didn't think about this particular guy as a romantic attraction? (Which might be a good thing for you, but, like GD said, don't do it just because your H is doing it.) Plus, from a "practical" side, if you're going to make a bad decision, sounds like that bad decision would be more fun with the young JS lookalike.

Either way, have as much fun as you'd like. Good lord, you deserve it.

I am doing it because I really feel like this is my next step in moving on with my life. As you know I am coming up on 1 year with no physical contact and I really would like to at least have some adult companionship...not as much as GD though! LOL...just razzing ya buddy.

I don't think the old friend is "the guy" for that but would be a good practice date. See how it feels to be out with someone.

My young Mr. Statham would like to be more than friends but really wants to see that I am totally free of my bonds. I can see it from his POV...I am several years older, probably knocked his socks off and he can see he may fall for me and get his heart broken if I went back to the H for whatever reason...plus he has this whole moral thing about waiting until I am fully divorced before getting involved. All I can say is that he has his head on strait and uses the big one not the little one! But if it were up to me I would probably jump his bones tomorrow...again not a good idea and not what I need right now.

I will keep you posted. I may end up chickening out!

What the ... "jump his bones?" Holy cow. Where are all these women who want to do this and how do we know? SO if I am walking through Target or whereever and notice a hot looking 30+ yr old (without a ring on) how the Bleep do I know if she is attracted to Mr. CVA?

Here's a tactic WAW, you women, next time you see a guy you want, just walk up and say, "let's go". That will work for sure. We men are such simple creatures.
