Is it at all possible that the two of you can sit down and say, "okay you pay this bill, I'll pay that one...." sort of thing?

My H who has been gone for over a year took it upon himself to pay all of the bills with the exception of my cell, internet, home phone, and groceries.

You are going to have to work out a budget and stick to it.

I am sure you can both come to a reasonable arrangement and he can get the money to you either monthly or twice a month.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you are not a pathetic desperate person who needs their Husband around in order to function.

You are going to have to pick yourself up by the bootstraps and take a deep breath and act like a grown up.

Let him see the new you, and the changes you have made.

You want him to notice you, so do it in a positive way!

I receive the phone bill via online (paperless) It looks like it has not been paid in two months now. I normally forward them to Rich, but a few weeks ago I received in the mailbox a letter from BellSouth stating that SOMEONE had obtained a new password for the acct. I can ony assume that it was him what confused me is the fact that the password has not changed in 4 years. Oh well, I too forget things.

i know it probably annoys him when I forward him some of the bills but that is the only way to get them to him! Since this bill has not been paid in two months I really wanted to mention that to him and ask him if he was going to pay it before it was cut off, but I know he's a smart man and he can see that its past due as well as I can. In the hopes that it wouldn't be so annoying to him, I forwarded the bill and asked him if he would like Josh to pay 100.00 towards it instead of sending him the 100.00 for the car payment. I know it's not much but it shows that we are thinking more towards his well being...

I hate this.

Did you know that the billing address can be changed to his address, as can your other bills.
This way he can get them directly and pay them directly without having to get you involved.

When Beloved was out in the far country and geting money out of him was like squeezing blood out of a turnip, I had many of the bills that were in his name only changed to his new address.

Sure he was a bit miffed, but he had to pay them as they would affect his credit if he didn't.

Creditors are more then happy to take new billing info if it helps them to get their money.

What credit? He went from over 700 to sub zero. He couldn't open an acct at McDonald for the daily .99 cent special.

Lets see......he has 3 different known addresses so far. I wouldn't know which one to send them to.
