Not exactly excited as how this mediation went. She did kinda balk at me asking for more time with our child. Afterwards we did talk on the porch for a few minutes. I got a lecture as to how I am not dressing out kid right. I am doing the best I can here.
Also got from her that she is seeking at least some child support, when I pressed her for exactly how much, she did not give me a number. Said not much, but would like it to be automatically deducted from my pay.........
Came away from this at least right now, that perhaps I ought to get a lawyer that is looking out for my best interest. Gonna think on it for a bit.
So she's balking at giving you more time with your kid because you are not dressing them the right way? I mean what is her reasoning...seriously? Aiight. Well I would say continue with the mediation for now. See how far you can go this way first. See it through. And taking it automatically from your pay? Again...why?
My point is...unless she has some type of reasoning to say that you should not have time with your child or can prove that you will be unreliable in your child support...I don't think she'll get very far with the mediator.
Show patience and stay calm man. Again...none of this matters until you agree to it and sign it. If she deosn't come to terms with what is fair to you...THEN you get an attorney. IMHO anyway.
