I can't understand why God didn't give us the same moods as dogs - happy, happy, happy or sleeping.

SueS,

It's all about time and patience, something I have little of. Desperate to phone W at the moment, but know it is a needy thing, so will hold off.

Pamar-

I understand the desperate to call feeling. I kind of have that feeling run through me a lot too. I have a hard time keeping it in check.

YEAH!!........I did not check the phone this morning.

Last night H got home from work and I had the baseball game on. It's post season play here and his favorite team (Chicago Cubs) are playing. D3 got up and talked to him for a few minutes. I wasn't aware that she hadn't fallen asleep! Little stinker. She just laid in her bed listening to music until he got home.

Anyway, we just sat watching the game together, having a few beers. Not saying much to each other, but that was fine. SOOOOO funny though.....you could totally see that my H was a little nervous, like maybe he was afraid that I'd start talking about something he didn't want to talk about. I started to get really sleepy toward the end of the game, so I told H that I was going to bed. He just said okay. The beers must have relaxed me because next thing I knew my alarm was going off.

I told H this morning that I had made D3's lunch, but we were short of groceries and wasn't sure what he wanted. He just said (in his groggy voice) that he'd take care of it. I just kissed his cheek, said I'll see ya later & left for work.

TOTAL FIASCO at work this morning. I set up an overnight trip for 14 people here at work. The bus the company sent wasn't large enough for every and their luggage! My boss is very cool, so he didn't have a huge issue with it. They got a late start, but they were able to go get another bus with enough room. Fortunately, I've set this trip up in previous years, so they knew it wasn't my error. WHEW!

Well, since both bosses are gone, I really need to use the quiet time to work!!

Have a good day-

SueS

Sues,

That's actually good if he was a little nervous.. Keep him guessing..

ahhh the days of actually going to the office.. not that I miss it I don't, but I remember all the hassles and issues.. office politics.. (I worked in administration for a school district doing health insurance).. I was also Union President for about 220 people.. that was a interesting job. I actually miss that part because it kept me on my toes. I actually had to argue with my own boss but at a different capacity.. I was his employee but he had to deal with me on the level of being Union President.. so it was a fine line.. but it was challenging.. I like to argue with him.. I've always like to fight for people who were being wronged by the district.. Maybe I should have been a defense lawyer???

Sue, nice evening and morning. I am sure H's grogginess was caused by beer and a late night. \:\) Nervous is good, he is trying. If he wasn't nervous, I would think he wasn't concerned about how things are going. That's good!

Yeah, I kind of felt like SuperWoman last night. The call from H sure did raise my spirits and helped a lot.

D3 & I ran an errand, cleaned her room, made dinner, started laundry, made her lunch for today, cooked some chicken H had set out, logged on here, washed dishes.....etc. I'm amazed I got it all done in just a few short hours.

I did my best "as if" acting last night at home. Hope that helped H relax a little.
