At that no. of weeks it is usually because the cell division hasn't been right for some reason. It's nature's way but it really hurts. Even if it is an unplanned pregnancy I found that I wanted it from the time I knew. I guess it all depends upon when you personally feel life begins - when it changes from cells to a 'baby'. I do hope your little one's croup clears up soon - I remember nights in a hot steamy bathroom feeling just sooooooo tired.
