Hey girl. Just FYI, all, I've changed my user name from CM34. Just a little too glaringly obvious. Anyway, I'm still here w/ a new name \:\)

Gab, please, please, for yourself, put in your mind that this trip will be WONDERFUL for you & H. Think positively that even that short period of time by yourselves will give you 2 some "bonding" time and bring you closer. I just don't want you to go w/ the attitude that you don't want to go and have it be a bomb, you know? Just act "as if" you are on your honeymoon and you 2 are madly in love again and just go w/ it. Enjoy!!!!!

I just figured that my old name was just a little glaringly obvious. I've recommended the site to others and don't necessarily want everybody knowing who I am, you know?

Well, if your friend really doesn't mind too much about how the house looks, just make sure everything is good to go for the kids and then relax and ENJOY the time away. It's not often we get that!!

Bye Saffie! Have a great time. Just pretend you are one of us Americans seeing everything for the first time. And yes, it is worth going away for just one night. It's just not worth bothering with all the organizing. Things will be fine if you do less.

Hey Red,

I still think this won't work.

Saffie---

I don't know anything about the Cotswolds, so I'll look it (them?) up. I need to have a clearer mental image of the terrain against which your golden thigh-high boots will be striding (occasionally, even, with you in them). I hope you have a wonderful trip. Pout, and be high maintenance, and flick that ol' whip a bit.

Hey y'all.

I'm back. We had a lovely time. We stayed in a really old pub that had loads of character and great food - lots of Americans there. It was called The Lamb Inn - the first one we turned up at was the wrong one - there are four of them all with the same name in the area!!!!

H was fantastic and we had a really good laugh.

I will try and catch up with you all and your threads later.

Husband, I did see a bit of your thread from my mobile phone and I think you may owe me an email!!!!!
