She can't handle the fact that he isn't "perfect". She "diagnosed" him last week with ADHD and wants to put him on meds. For him of course. Anyway, we had a doctor appointment scheduled for Friday, but now with this she just wants me to ask to schedule a test tomorrow when I take him in for the ear. And to make sure to tell the doctor how long this has been going on(years) and how it's gotten worse. I am so ready to puke right now. I suppose, shoving pills down his throat would be much easier than diciplining an active 8 year old. I have no respect for that monster. She is completely dead to me.
Tell the doctor your concerns that she is trying to medicate him as opposed to actually spending time with him and directing him like a mother SHOULD. Have him tested. Deal with the results. Prepare yourself for either outcome and f*ck her!

As a teacher...let me tell you that to actually get an accurate ADHD diagnosis is pretty hard. His teachers will have to fill out forms, they will test him (they tested my sonfora totally of 4 hours) and they will come back with suggestions.
I took Nick to a center that specializes in pediatrics and one that encouraged non-medication.
I would suggest finding a clinic like that close to you.
(And for mice, use peanut butter on the traps!!!:) )
