My son goes to high school this year. All of our previous things were items that we had some control over. Now, he gets to football and the emotional side kicks in. Man. What a bee-otch!
Sounds like you're doing ok. I'm glad to hear that. It's interesting to look back and see the things that we just did and dealt with. It's good that he has to "take care" of himself now.

Abnormal Psych??? Funny you say that b/c that is a course I have to take before being accepted into the graduate program for counseling to get my masters. Do I really need a class to learn about what I've been going through for almost a year?????????????????

Hi Upside! Things have been busy. H being a jerk is just another bend in the road. I am certain my decision is the right one, but not really b/c of him. Mostly b/c of me. I have certain standards that I expect now and he just doesn't meet them. At least not today.......
Off to another soccer game! I'm tired and kind of achy today! If I'm getting sick, I'll be really irritated!
And IMP....the drywall upstairs and in the kitchen is about finished! They are putting in new windows this week and I'm ordering new fixtures for the bath! Hopefully we'll get started on the addition next month. Things are moving ahead full steam right now which is awesome!

Things are great here. Been off this week. My boys are with me. Younger son is ignoring me in favor of a computer and an xbox. Older son has required much hands-on dad action because of football, both driving and emotional support. The dude has come through with flying colors. And I just had a quick consult with a gastroenterologist...I have a 5-day Thanksgiving weekend and a free buzz on. Tomorrow, I make pulled pork. And I am looking forward to this weekend on my own.

Today has been much quieter. The pork is in the oven and scent is fantastic.
What I am really waiting for is tomorrow. The former Mrs. Imp returns from vacation and I will get a bit of a break. I like my alone time. And I don't even have to go into a cave. I live in mine!
