I never really thought my h liked me either...used to ask him why he was with me...he's reply...I'm serving a five year penance for the church...was meant to be a lighthearted joke...but I was being serious and not the "how to loose a guy in ten days" type...you don't love me do you crap...I really just didn't think I was good enough for h..eventually he asked me to marry him..I was still doubtful of his true feelings....after 4 years of m...h left me saying he never really was in love with me...and wanted a d...was I happy to know the "truth" at times I was ok with it..and other times I was very pissed and hurt. well after a six+ month separation h realized he did love me..though our r as you know needs work...it is possible.
perhaps a separation will do you and h both some good..but as cerbon said on your other thread..be careful to care for your own demons yourself..(with the help of c, books, this bb, and clergy if that is in you) do not turn to another man...that will not help you grow.
humans are very complicated..our minds our hearts etc....relationships are even more difficult...trying to bring these two individuals harmoneosly together...as you close every post "anything is possible"
