Trying to get my game face on, the eye of the tiger, etc, in preparation for this evening. Going over my talk and getting it to flow naturally.
One minute I feel like recent events have leant to the possibility that she is just waiting for me to say what I'm going to say tonight and things may finally turn around, and the next minute I feel like I'm going to get the eye rolling look that says, "I thought we were past this." Just gotta go for it.

Good luck GD. Here's the key - you will be fine either way, and should (are?) preparing to handle both the best way. MY DB Coach said that when things don't go the way you hope, that is often a better (or even the best) opportunity to show your changes and true colors! Kind of like when you hadn' told W about the kidcare rafting trip arrangement, and she got mad. You never would have wanted to do anything to make her mad, but it was a blessing really.
I hope W comes around, but if she gives you the eye roll, (1) that may not be how she really feels (a very important thing to keep in mind) and (2) you have a chance their to make an impression by handling this with class, style, confidently, positively, etc.
