Lasted 5 days without talking to H(and not caring much which is the critical part here). H called this evening in response to my phone call yesterday giving him an important message. He thanked me. Glad it wasn't an emergency!! He'll be over at the house tomorrow he told me so I will leave early. I have a wedding tomorrow afternoon so may see him when I come home to change. Wish I had something new to wear now. Oh well. Too late for that, but I will be happy and eager to be going out (although I dread going to a wedding!!!!!)

He told D16 that he wanted to do something with her tomorrow. Thank goodness for that!!!!!!

Oh matilda,

The sparkle in your beautiful eyes would out shine any outfit you could buy. Hope the groom does not notice you he may just change his mind and run off with you.

How was the wedding? I hope you had a fabulous time! Did your H do something fun with D16?

I am counting my blessing this morning and one of them is the friends I have made on this board. Thank you for being one of them, Mat.

Hey matilda,

Feet tired from dancing all night? Hope you drank plenty of water before bed helps with the hang over. It must have been hard seeing "Couples" there. I know that is one thing I notice more when I go out.
hope you had a great time.

I survived the wedding!!!! The sit down dinner was delicious and the dancing part was fun. I was with a group from work (3 other couples and one single woman) so I didn't really mind being alone. However, the hard part was listening to the vows during the ceremony!!!!

H spent a couple hours with D16 in the morning. I had hoped they would spend the whole day/evening together, but no such luck. D16 isn't really telling me how she feels.....and I don't want to pry.

H called me this morning before he left for a business trip. I told him I wanted to talk to him more when he was back in town about us staying at the house. He was very agreeable. TOO AGREEABLE as a matter of fact. Maybe I made him nervous when I was asking about our tax returns from last year.

Hey Matty....my S15 was the same way. He wears his emotions on the outside for the most part. He doesn't talk openly about things unless it is something that is affecting him.
