You sound calmer. That is good. Getting the family text messaging was a good idea. Is your wife planning to pay for the costs of her romance with family money or with separate money? Or maybe her boyfriend will pay for her ticket. My son, who is 18, pays for his girlfriend's airfare when she comes to visit him. And he doesn't even have a fulltime job. He says he thinks that's what a man does. So that's what he does. He makes me proud of him even though I hate to see him spend all his money on his girlfriend.

Sara:
My wife & I spend hundred of dollars every month on her affair (excess cell minutes, hotels, rental cars, flights, etc). Because we are married, there is no separate money. It's all OURS. Therefore, I am helping her financially to keep this affair alive.

I should add that she recently got a new credit card account. In the event that we do end up splitting, I will see to it that the balance on this account will be 100% her responsibility (she is not aware that I know about it). You can bet on that.

Hey Mark,

Beware if the credit card. 20 years ago in my first D. here in Calif. The husband was responsible for all debt.( as far as the credit card company is concerned.) I ended up paying off the cards.

I make more money than her but what she does means more, She does daycare at our house. She has been home for all our kids. She is done after this summer. Our youngest is in shcool now.
I too feel like I'm paying for her affair. And it is OUR money.

The phone plan I chose has 3000 min, last month our tot was 3400. Last night I asked her If she could watch her mins so I don't have to keep upping our plan at the end of the month. Last month I guess she used over 3000 herself the rest was the girls and I. That really sucks when you think about it thats the cell phone not including home phone witch om calls while i'm at work.

I try not to think about it.

We do have some credit cards with no balance on them. I was thinking of closing them, or using them for the possible d. I would rather sell the camper to pay for it.

L.S

Funny thing happened (well I guess it's not so funny). After the D "Sears" sends me a delinquent bill on their card. So I go down and tell them I'll pay it off but want her name taken off the card. They tell me I can't do this because the card is under HER name. I am JUST a "co signer". They tell me I could pay of her card REMOVE my name and apply for a card on my won. So I do this and get DENIED BECAUSE OF THE PREVIUSE DELEQUENT CARD.
bastards.....

My wife looks so hot right now. I want very badly to tell her. I don't think I should.

Any advice?

That's pretty much what I thought. Wasn't sure if I should avoid all comments like that.

Like I said I am no expert but.... as Theo would say you have to lovingly detach. Ya don't want to shut the door al of the way.
In reality this may have been a problem she saw in you. Maybe in the past she didn't think you noticed or didn't pay her compliments. I am not saying you didn't but you will see what we do and what they think we do are two different things.
