Hey Mattie,
Your thread locked. How are you? My DD16 is on a church mission trip and won't be home until Sunday. I miss her dearly.

Yoyo

Hi yoyo and Mattie,

I think he called 4 times Sunday and 5 times Monday but we had a lightening storm go thru and we have to watch to make sure it doesn't start any fires. So he was calling to see if things were all right the last couple. He called 4 times to day. Go figure...Its mostly business and to see how I'm doing. Sometimes he easy to talk to and sometimes he is tough to make conversation with.
I went and helped with a Memorial scholarship fund raiser for my nephew that was killed last year on Sunday. I saw a lot of people but it went on till 2:00 in the morning so I was dragging yesterday. Today my brother in law and I had to go to a meeting for the business. My H brothers are always nice to me. They all help me and support me and there is 7 of them. Well Hope you guys made it thru the week-end.

Thanks for checking on me it really means alot.

Penny glad you had a good weekend. I'm so glad you have the support of your BIL's. That means a lot.

My DDs and I plan on going to Tulsa next Monday to visit my parents. We will come back about midweek and head to the lake with my H's cousins and families. H's parents and sisters are awful to me, but his cousins and aunt and uncle are great to me.

That will be fun to take the DD's with you to visit your parents. How long of a drive? Really enjoy yourself. Do you have any old friends there you can visit? Start thinking positive about going to the lake and believe you will have a good time and not let anyone get you down. You are a special person.....Ignore the H parents and sisters its there problem not yours...Soak up that great sun... YoYO I just had to laugh because I went out and the hot tub had quit and lid had blown part way off we had a big wind storm earlier. I guess the power must had been off. So after a few cuss words. I went in and flipped the breaker it took a couple of times but it started. we were just chatting about fixing things. Just remember we can fix it and figure it out with out calling H. Just remember to let me know and if we can't figure something out we will find some one who knows. We can become real independent. Show your H hey I can make it with you or without you. HIs loss......

It will take us about 4.5 hours to get there. I'm not from there, Dad and step mother moved there with his job a few years ago. My mom died about 12 years ago and stepmother has really been a support to me during all of this.

Lake should be a lot of fun. Daughters will probably take their jet skis and I will lounge on the boat!

Glad to hear your BILs support and help you. I spent the weekend helping my MIL move. H's younger brother called to thank me for doing so much for her.

You said sometimes it is easy to talk to your H and sometimes it's not. I do better on the phone than in person (I can fake being happy better on the phone than in person!)

Husbands need to fix their ownselves instead of our stuff, huh? We have a clear conscience we go to sleep at night, don't we? \:\)

Yoyo,
It is great you have your step mom... I am jealous of you lounging on the boat. I am here in the hot muggy west....in the dust really. Hasn't been any rain...

Mat,
You sound like me. I help my in laws alot. It is nice that H brother called and thanked you. Where was H when you were helping her...

How are you doing? How are things going?

Maybe some of our rain will head your way. We had almost two weeks of rain. Not heavy, but still rain and clouds.

Yoyo,
we must have crossed at the same time.
No kidding they need a Quick Fix it Kit....Maybe we should invent one..We could be famous...I believe they would sell well. Its just what would we put in it.

I believe we can look or selves in the mirror and not feel guilty.

You guys are the greatest...
