I'm in a hotel between Tucson and Lubbock (Las Cruces). Going to see an uncle in the hospital. I'll help out my aunt, and then be able to give my mom (my uncles twin sister) a firsthand update. My wife suggested I should go after she talked to my mom this weekend and found out he was in the hospital. He is a great guy, but his health has been collapsing for about twenty years, especially the last 10. Anything heart, diabetes, circulation, or weight related, he's got. On top of that, he went blind for practical purposes after a heart surgery about ten years ago, and has become a bit of a snippy codger. Always had a biting sense of humor, now it is sometime almost mean, but I know he doesn't mean it....
More info than you needed, but it felt good to write it....
OJ
And I causght the chihuahua joke, just adding to the festivities, a bit ineptly!
I guess it really doesn't matter the venue(if thats the right word) being supportive and empathetic can easily turn into something quite different and completely unintentional given all the emptiness a LBS feeling.....
did that make sense at all?
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Makes perfect sense. It seems to me the key is how you deal with it. And it seems to me they did ok.
Yes it makes sense. That is one reason I, in real life won't let myself get into any situation that I might regret later. I can see how things like that can happen, not anyones fault, just a matter of circumstances.
Now I think mine made no sense
