I'm sorry you are going through all of this at once. You will pull through this. God does not give us more than we can handle so right now he is testing your strength. (A bad way of doing it if you ask me)
Nothing crappy about asking her for a ride. Does she know what is going on with your dad, she might be more than willing to help out.
