How you doing JR ?

Getting all showered and shaved, make sure you look good tonight.

you don't know the half of it:

Best clothes - cleaned and pressed
Shoes - shined
Hair - to be cut and styled (by my SIL) at 4pm
Face - just the right amount of stubble and a nice tan (she loves that, and since I can't kiss her, she won't get scratched)
Breath - Liquorice Altoids - curiously strong
Teeth - brushed and flossed

Physically, I have not been in this good of shape for about 8 years and she'll notice. Hopefully that will open the door to some serious curiosity and maybe some chit chat on her part.

I had a nice counseling session this morning with my IC and I feel upbeat. Still not expecting anything but if I daydream enough, she jumps ME!

Sounds like you have it all in order. Make sure the SIL doesn't give you a mohawk or something.
You are going to look good, she will notice.

Don't expect, and it might be more than you could imagine.


p.s. I happen to see my fathers day card today. I am so confused at what to do now as in card or gift. The card is something I would never expect.

Dude, don't do that to yourself. Why, because ultimately you are setting yourself up for unintended expectations. That is you in your subconscious mind are hoping she's all of the sudden have an epiphany and "come to her senses and lust after you". Sure it's a nice fantasy but when she's cold, bitter and angry towards you (a possibility) then you are going to take a serious downturn.

So please don't even go there right now. Maybe you can when she starts to show you a lot more but not right now.

I think so, and more importantly my head is in the right place. I'm sure my heart will jump out of my chest initially like it did last time, but I calmed down pretty quick.

I also put together a budget for paying off the debt if she wants to look at something like that, so I'll be prepared for all that.

I'm not prepared for anything else but I know the spirit will guide me like it did last time.

Now, no more talk about this, I don't want to jinx it.

I get to be with my son this afternoon, I'm STOKED about that.

He's big into riding his scooter - so I'm sure we'll do a lot of that and head over to the park and I'll ride my longboard, it'll be fun as always...

I can't believe it's been a week since I've seen him! I'm excited.

Catfan, don't take that so literally, it was just daydreaming, I don't get my hopes up over daydreams - I don't think for one minute she's going to do anything but talk business. Thanks for keeping me grounded though
