Hello everyone

Up here in Eureka. Already took a drive on the beach. Weather is ok. We are leaving the toylet seat up. (I brought some Bacardi rum and coke). Waiting until a little later to phone home. I’ll give the first surprise then. Tomorrow we build sand castles I may post the pics on my space and give ya all the address.

I’ll see ya all later and let ya know how the phone call went.

Husband,
Awww... I'm jealous, I love the beach. Have a wonderful time, you deserve it! Good luck on the phone call.

Enjoy your time away. Looking forward to hearing about your phone call and her reaction to the first gift. What would happen if you skip one day of calling???

Well I’m sitting here eating my microwave scrambled eggs and hash browns. Didn’t do much last night. Took our first cruse on the beach and played video games last night. My son had sooo much fun that he peed his pants he was laughing so hard.
The phone call went ok. She was not excited or seemed real happy. I asked her if giving her the gift bothered her. Her answer “not really”. So is she confused? Is she thinking oh no husband is getting to wrong idea because I have been nice to him? Is she thinking maybe husband is not so bad, so why do I not love him anymore?
Or is it I wish he would get off the phone incase the OM calls. Actually I was calling our house phone so he could still call on her cell.

Anyway when she gets to work today she will find the fan on her desk. Good timing because it is going to be 80-90 this week.
I was thinking about going dark. Not calling her. Let her call us.

Gota go I’ll check back later

Quit worrying about what everything means and where she's at.... you've done your best. And don't expect anything!! Remember give without expecting and if she likes it great... and if she doesn't just know that you HAD FUN GIVING and life is good!!!!

P.s. I really hate when people give me gifts and EXPECT me to act a certain way in response to it.

thanks root

I know don't expect anything. I have really enjoyed doing things for her and have not expected anything in retuen. It's just I wanted to make sure if giving her these little things was not pushing her farther away.

One idea might be to leave the next clue on the answering machine when you know she is at work. That way she can find the gift, but she doesn't have to react to you on the phone. I bet she would wonder if you didn't call. Add some mystery!!!! Just a thought!

By the way, I think the little gifts show you are a thoughtful man. They would mean more to me than expensive jewelry any day. Just remember your wife may not be in her "right mind" so don't have high expectations. Remember this week is to enjoy being with your son!

hey maty

Ok today’s events we went to the dollar store and bought some buckets, army men and some flags. Went out on the coast built our first sand castle. Looked pretty cool with the army men and the flags. The tide was still out so we went back to home base ate some corn dogs. We played video games for about 2 hours went back to the beach to see how the sand castle was doing/ well some commie stole our flags. So we rebuilt the castle better than before and stayed there and watched the tide come in. After I asked my son if he wanted to drive. I wish you all could have seen his face. I let him sit on my lap and let him take over the wheel. He again was laughing so hard I told him he better not pee this time sitting on my lap.
When we got back I had him call the W. He was so excited he
Had to call his grand mom too. Tonight we are going to sit around in our underwear watch a movie and maybe have a farting contest. It’s a guy thing. Men bonding

Tomorrow we go to Fern canyon. It’s where they filmed part of the movie star wars. There is supposed to be some good creek fish in there.

Later

Sounds like you guys are having a ton of fun. Just focus on your son and take a lot of pictures if you can.
