P_S, I still recommend Dr. Amens book on ADD. It will help you get educated while waiting what will seem like a long 3 weeks. Cat is dead on on her advice. He has a lot of work to do, and often they have a long denial stage due to shame and other things (BTDT with my hubby). Also be prepared, it may be some trial and error on meds till get the right formula.
rebecca, Thanks for your advice. I'll probably get the book. This test he's taking on teh 22nd is supposed to have much better chances of recommending the right meds. He thinks it will come up with nothing. Maybe that's the denial.
I don't know how much more of this fight I can fight.
