You know, an arranged marriage really might not be so bad. I mean, I didn't do so great choosing on my own.

My dog keeps getting muddy pawprints all over the place, even when I wipe her off. I'm thinking of not washing anything till it's dry outside.

Have fun tonight! I'm going out to a play that one of my colleagues wrote and directed.

Last night was fun--it's quite weird watching the Brady Bunch through grown up eyes. My God how I loved that show as a child. It never struck me really that they were a "blended family" when I was a kid. They seemed so harmonious and in sync. We watched several episodes including the one where Peter's voice changes. One of the gals was from a Brady Bunch type situation too--her step mother married her father after her mom died and brought 4 kids into their family of 4 so they were a family of 10. She said it was great.

Ah, such innocence of that show and the characters. The interesting thing is how sordid all their lives were off camera.

Anyway, My best buddy (who is half Brazilian/half German) is going to Brazil this summer with her folks and asked if I wanted to come along! I think I'm going to try to go (if I can get H to agree to take the kids WAY more this summer). Of course we'll visit Brazilian Boy (he's got a gal so don't even go there--we're just friend now anyway) and also our girlfriend Isabella. I will finally get to see a country I have always wanted to visit with someone who speaks the language and knows people. It's a great opportunity.

I love adventures and I love to travel and I have a valid passport so why not!

Love,
A

Divorced parents, step kids, and a dad that is Gay
